- First prize: A certificate of merit and 200,000 yen

- The top prize winner(s) will be offered an opportunity to play in a concert held during the next convention.
- <<Number of Contestants>>
- First 40 groups in order of application. It will be closed and announced on the JFA’s website when the number of applicants reaches the number.
- First arrival will be defined as the order in which all ensemble participants’ applications and payments are received.

- Application is accepted online only through the website of Japan Flutitsts Association.(Reception starts on April 1, 2023)
- Apply for both the competition and participation for the whole period of the convention.
- Participants must register and pay for their own registration. Not all members of a group can register.

- (2) A piece of free choice (which should not exceed 6 minutes); An arranged piece is acceptable.

- Two pieces of free choice. (The duration including the time between the pieces should not exceed 20 minutes.) One should be an original work though the other can be an arranged piece.
- precautions
- The contestants can make some cuts in the pieces of free choice in order to make the duration fit in the allowed length of time.
- The piece of free choice for the preliminary round can be an extract of the pieces for the final.
- Instruments allowed in the preliminary and final competitions are piccolo, soprano flute, flute, flute d’amour, alto flute, bass flute, F-bass flute or contrabass flute.
