Personal Information Protection Policy (Privacy Policy), Japan Flutists Association
Japan Flutists Association (JFA) has established the following privacy policy to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately in all of its operations (activities), including the website operated by JFA, and will make every effort to protect the personal information.
1. Collection and Use of Personal Information
JFA collects and uses the members’ personal information (name, gender, date of birth, address, contact telephone number, email address, and so forth). Personal information is obtained in compliance with laws and regulations, and is used appropriately within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and is not obtained through improper means.
2. Purpose of Use
JFA uses the personal information obtained for the following purposes.
- Creation and distribution JFA journals.
- Creation and distribution of publications published by JFA.
- Distribution of documents related to general meetings, elections, and so forth.
- Distribution of information about events organized, co-hosted or supported by JFA.
- Responding to inquiries about JFA.
3. Management of Personal Information
JFA will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety management to prevent leakage, falsification, or loss of personal information held by JFA. JFA will not use the personal information for any purpose other than those stated above.
In the case where the handling of personal information is outsourced, it will be ensured that the contractor will have a duty to maintain appropriate confidentiality.
4. Personal Information Access Control
JFA will not use the personal information for any purpose other than the purpose of utilization, except as required by law.
5. Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party
JFA will not provide personal information to third parties (including those located outside of Japan) except as required by law. When JFA provides personal information to a third party, JFA will obtain the consent of the individual concerned in advance.
6. Disclosure, Correction or Suspension of Use of Personal Information
JFA will comply with requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and so forth, of personal information upon request from the individual concerned, following the prescribed procedures.
In order to maintain the accuracy of information, please notify the JFA’s office immediately of any changes in personal information (such as changes of address and/or family name).
