- The first rounds of the solo and piccolo divisions shall be held online with the recorded performance.
- One person can double-apply for Solo and Alto Flute divisions, or Piccolo and Alto Flute divisions (no other combination of applications will not be accepted).

- Piccolo Division: April 1 – May 15
- Alto Flute Division: April 1 – June 15
- Ensemble Awards: April 1 – June 15
- <<Eligibility>>
- All ages and nationalities are welcome.
- Must be a member of the Japan Flute Association. (Simultaneous membership is acceptable)
- The applicant must participate in all the days of the convention. (No applications will be accepted if no applications are received for all days.)
- Please note that previous first prize winners of this competition are not eligible to participate in the same category.
